Herp Rescue

Herp rescue is a service provided by members of the Kentucky Herpetological Society to assist in relocating captives that can no longer be taken care of properly, in addition to capturing and relocating wild reptiles and amphibians that are a nuisance on your property. Please do not contact these members in order to "sell" animals.

For pet related rescues, contact Eddie Boeckman. Eddie is a KHS member who operates Herp Haven, a herp oriented rescue.  You can reach him at (502) 533 0708.

For rescues involving nuisance animals such as snakes and other wild amphibians and reptiles email or call one of the volunteers listed below.  Please do not attempt to catch or destroy these creatures.  Venomous reptiles can be dangerous and inexperienced persons should not attempt to capture or kill them as serious injury may result.

Also please keep in mind that the members listed below are volunteers and may be limited in their availability for rescue calls.
